Become a member
The hob’art cooperative gallery welcomes all artists working in the metropolitan area to join us and to exhibit their art in group and solo exhibitions. There is no jurying process to become a member of hob’art. All artists are welcome. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month.
To apply for membership
Annual membership is $40 and is billed in July*. Membership includes press book representation (one image and bio for display portfolio), website representation and group exhibitions. If you wish to join please complete this application and send with a $40 check made out to hob’art to: Leslie Rubman, 1015 Grand Street, #5A, Hoboken. NJ 07030.
*If new artists join during the second quarter, April-June, they will not have to pay their dues again until the following July. This will not apply to joining at any other time.
To apply for gallery membership
To become a member of the hob’art co-operative gallery you must first become a member of the organization. Gallery membership is $240 per annum or a bi yearly payment of $120. This entitles gallery members to one three person show a year and one group show per year. For a copy of the contract and any questions please contact:

Website representation
Three images are included in the price of membership, along with resume and artist statement. New images are uploaded once per year.
1. Three (3) images in .jpg format @ 72 dpi. 500pxls wide
Please include artwork title, dimensions, medium & price.
Images should be named as follows:

2. You must include an artist statement and resume (electronic format preferred). Artist statement & resumes should be in simple list format with only basic formatting (bold & underline). Please keep everything in one column so we can just copy & paste it. Include your website URL if you have one. Resumes will be on your page as a pdf.

Press book representation
Requires 1 photo or .jpg (72 dpi at least), resume and artist statement upon joining. Please indicate which photo you want to have included when you send in your membership and images.
